What to expect in Hypnotherapy?

In hypnotherapy you will be guided into a trance-like state similar to being completely absorbed in a book, movie, or music, much like a meditative state.  Your thinking mind quiets so you can turn your attention completely inward to tap into and utilize your subconscious. You will feel safe, relaxed, aware of yourself, and open to positive suggestions. With hypnotherapy, we can uncover the hidden patterns or beliefs that your subconscious mind has been holding. We can then upgrade and install new healthier beliefs, so you feel empowered and more in control over your thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

I will work with you using a powerful method of hypnotherapy called Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT). Developed by world-renowned therapist, author and speaker, Marisa Peer.  RTT is a safe, therapeutic intervention, that embraces many positive aspects of hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness.  It is a unique and effective technique that very quickly achieves outstanding breakthrough with lasting results. By reprogramming the mind, we overcome bad habits, limiting beliefs, and self-destructive behavior.

 RTT works best when it is focused on a specific issue, and often only one hypnotherapy session is needed for remarkable shifts. However, depending on how entrenched an issue is, you may need up to three sessions.

Sessions are typically 90 minutes and are available in person or virtual.  Each session concludes with a 10-15 minute personalized hypnosis recording that you take with you and commit to listen to for 21 days, allowing the words of the recording to reinforce the shifts made during the session and reprogram the new beliefs. As follow-up, two additional  60-minute coaching sessions provide further integration and an opportunity to expand on what came up for you during the Hypnotherapy session and in the days/weeks that follow.

RTT has proven to deliver outstanding and lasting results, often in just one to three sessions. It works because rather than focusing on the symptoms, RTT uses powerful and unique techniques to locate and treat the root cause of your issue. 

We are not born with negative beliefs and habits, we acquire them. In your session you will explore the negative beliefs you formed earlier in life and discover how, when, and why you acquired them so that you can understand and reframe them.  We will also work with unprocessed emotions that are stored in your body and causing dis-ease. By working with the wisdom and intelligence of your subconscious mind, emotional heart and instinctual body, you will uncover what has been holding you back from living a life of greater fulfillment and more harmony.
